About Me
In my day job, I am a Senior Teaching Associate in experimental Nanoscience at the University of Cambridge (Doctoral Training Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology). I am also an affiliated lecturer for the MPhil in Nanoscience and Enterprise (Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy), and a Bye-Fellow and Director of Studies at Lucy Cavendish College.
Outside of my core specialism of Nanoscience, I am also interested in teaching 3D visualisation strategies for scientific communication (particularly the Physical Sciences). He currently delivers lectures and training workshops in fundamental visual design strategies for researchers, within the University of Cambridge and also more broadly.
As a scientific illustrator, I aim to combine my broad scientific background in physics, chemistry, biochemistry and engineering with my illustrations to help people communicate their science to a wider audience. If you have any scientific concepts that you would like visualised for websites, journal covers, publication/presentation figures, please get in touch and lets discuss! You can reach me here.
